Gerry Degroot

Gerry knows the Fraser Valley like only a local can. He was born and raised on a dairy farm in Chilliwack and earned a diploma in biological sciences from BCIT. Gerry has worked in the feed and crop industry for more than 30 years.

In 2010 Gerry started his own company, DairyCrop Solutions, to further pursue his passion for growing quality, high yield forages. Gerry knew that the success of a feed program depended on the quality of forages available to producers. He was determined to improve the product available to local farmers.

DairyCrop specializes in providing the best forage & corn seed blends for the B.C. region. The agronomic expertise of Gerry’s team helps farmers maximize yields and quality in forage crop production.

Gerry is continually learning more about the science behind the forage industry so that he can help his client base succeed. His customers are his neighbors, and their fields are his laboratories.

When he’s not working, Gerry enjoys watching sports, going fishing, and travelling.
