James Robinson

James started his ag life on his family beef/grain farm in Kildare, Ireland. He received his degree in Animal Science from UCD Dublin in 2010. Prior to arriving in Canada, James added to his international experience in Agriculture, working in the UK, Australia, France, and the USA.

In Canada, James has enjoyed several successes. First, as a WestGen representative, serving customers from Abbotsford to Richmond for three years. He followed up with 5.5 remarkable years as a BC sales manager for Alltech. At Alltech, James was responsible for creating the local on-farm support program, which mainly consisted of troubleshooting forage quality-related issues in cows.

Backed by his education and experience, the career move to DairyCrop is a very logical step. James enjoys working with producers, focusing on raising healthy calves and a desire to increase their milk produced per acre.

James is excited to continue to serve the agricultural industry in BC. He is looking forward to assisting farmers using the latest technological advances to maximize quality and yield.
